Tuesday: Bamboo (Jun 5), Hollyhocks (Jun 12),
Roses (Jun 19), Columbines (Jun 26),
Marigolds (Jul 10), Day-lilies (Jul 17)
In these beginner friendly workshops, you will learn the
fundamentals of Chinese Spontaneous painting - how to
create petal shapes with emphasis on brush placement
and movement, how to color-load to get thebest blending
and color intensities for spectacular flowers.

Discover your inner artist with Karen's support,
choose your own colors, create your own composition.

You will complete 1 painting in each workshop.

and special felt ($5.50) which are yours to keep

Tuesday: Bouquets (Jul 24 & 131
In these 2 workshops, you will learn how to
paint bouquets of flowers in vases using
Chinese brush techniques.
Discover your inner artist with
Karen's support, choose your own colors,
create your own composition.

You will complete 1 painting in 2 workshops.

*new students will need to purchase
1 special flowers brush ($19.67) and
special felt ($5.50) which is yours to keep.

Tuesday Aug 7 & 14
"Landscape - Colorful Skies"
This 2 part workshop will introduce the
use of Chinese ink, watercolors and
brush strokes used in Chinese
spontaneous landscape paintings. You
will complete 1 painting in 2 workshops.
