Plum Blossoms (Jan 17),
Snow Drops(Jan 24),
Carnations (Jan 31),
Cyclamen (Feb 7)
In these beginner friendly
workshops, you will learn
the fundamentals of Spontaneous painting -
how to create petal shapes with
emphasis on brush placement and movement,
how to color-load to get the best blending
and color intensitiesfor spectacular flowers.

Discover your inner artist with
Karen's support, choose your own colors,
create your own
composition.

Students who have never painted before
(just like Karen when she first started)
and beginners will be focusing on
easier compositions eg: flowers only
and basic techniques.

More experienced students will be
learning complex compositions such as
leaves, buds, 3-D perspectives, contrast,
backgrounds and advanced techniques.

You will complete at least 1 painting
in each workshop.

Tuesday Feb 21 & 28
Landscape - Joshua Trees
This workshop will introduce
the use of Chinese ink,
watercolors and brush strokes
used for landscapes.
You will complete 1 painting
over 2 workshops.
You will need landscape brushes
for this workshop.
Landscape brushes are
different from Flowers brushes.
Please contact Karen by Feb 7th to
order your brushes.
