Santa Clarita Summer 2010 Watercolors on Rice-paper Workshops
Beginners are welcome! Enjoy the spontaneous nature of this beautiful art form. Express your
creativity with watercolors on rice-paper using Chinese Brush techniques. Create your own
paintings and experience an entirely different way of painting. No sketching or drawing involved.
Let your energy flow into the brush and bring your flowers and landscapes to life. Have fun and
make new friends with your fellow brush artists.

Tues 7/27, 8/3, 8/10 Flowers and Sunset 6:00 - 8:00 pm $105 $15+tax returning students

Beautiful Basics - Camellias, Grass Orchids
These are introductory level workshops, covering
the fundamentals of Spontaneous style painting -
how to create petal shapes with emphasis on brush
placement and movement, how to color-load to get
the best blending and color intensities. Choose your own colors, create your own composition.
You will complete 2 paintings in 2 workshops.
Tuesday July 27, Aug 3 & 10, 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Flowers and Sunset - Pansies, Lotus and Sunset
These are beginner level workshops, covering the fundamentals of Spontaneous style painting -
how to create petal shapes with emphasis on brush placement and movement, how to color-load to
get the best blending and color intensities and how to create spectacular sunsets. Choose your
own colors, create your own composition. You will complete 3 paintings in 3 workshops
.
