Beginners are welcome! Enjoy the spontaneous nature of this beautiful art form. Express your
creativity with watercolors on rice-paper using Chinese Brush techniques. Create your own
paintings and experience an entirely different way of painting. No sketching or drawing
involved. Let your energy flow into the brush and bring your flowers and landscapes to life.

Flowers - Day Lilies, Wisteria, Mother's Day Special Dahlias on Shikishi
You will learn the concepts of color-loading, water control and brush strokes used to capture the
beauty of flowers. Choose your own colors, design your own composition. You will complete
3 paintings in 3 workshops. The Mother's Day special Dahlias will give you the additional option
of painting directly on Shikishi boards. These boards mount on Shikishi frames and are ready to
hang! A beautiful present for Mother's Day!

This workshop will introduce the use of chinese ink, watercolors and brushstrokes used for
